Every update The Fun Pimps do adds enough new stuff to make it feel almost like a new game. I'm sitting here waiting to play and record some more right now. They started digging in front of our house yesterday less than two hours after release and it's a long project...ugh!

Nice first look at the game. Mine will be coming out tomorrow (shameless plug). I am doing an unedited version for the first 3 or 4 videos before getting back into editing them down again. I think that will be more fun than speeding everything up in the beginning. When you talk about the new questing system and how it works are you talking about the actual quests you get from the trader or the Challenge system? Because the Challenge system is actually kind of interesting. Oh and I got 1.0 onto my server. If you are available this Saturday I would love for you to join me for a 1.0 Stream Kickoff. I am going to message a few friends to see if they want to join as well. Your family is also welcome to join as well. I think I can have up to 10 people on at a time (I will double check that). Let me know so I know how many to invite. You, your family, Beer Run Bob and Wolfdog get priority. The start time will be around Noon EST.

I am definitely in for Saturday and can't wait. I can't get TechGuy to get in on the videos with me but I sent out a text to my kids to see if they're available. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back. I'm set up for KZbin streaming now, too late to stream my first episode like I'd hoped... I just finished watching your "Getting Some Jobs Done" video and started the final Tongo Mod episode. Sad to see the series go but I'm excited to see your take on 1.0. Now, the new questing system: They nerfed quest rewards and the trader's stock so that we don't get better than we can craft. I think they may have nerfed random loot a bit too. I feel like it may make questing obsolete since the point of questing, for me anyway, was to get the gear I needed to build bases and get into higher POIs through quest rewards. I'll make my point clearer in tomorrow's video, I was just too excited to stop "chasing squirrels" to explain it well in this video. I am going to play 14ish in-game days focusing on questing and crafting what I can, then start a new run of the same time frame doing random POI looting and crafting to see if there are any benefits of one over the other. 7 Days Science, so to speak. That will keep me busy while the mods are being updated... See you in Saturday's stream!!

@@CarlaTheFobbit Thank you for the confirmation to join, hope your kids will join in as well. I would love to see a huge turnout for a first 1.0 stream. I do remember something about them nerfing the loot for quests but from what I have seen it isn't all that bad. For the most part we get most of the good stuff from the actual loot from the POIs while doing the quests. The trader's gift for quests really never blew me away, or at least in my experience until later game. But I absolutely look forward to watching your "science experiment" on the questing system.

I can't remember if I let you know that The Boy has to work...However, The Girl just text me and said that she's in for Saturday. Her boyfriend works 2nd shift, so I won't hear from him until tomorrow probably. She finally updated her discord tag from the one assigned by Microsoft when she was a kid...I'll send that to you in an email after I hear from What's His Face. Is everything still the same for the server? I have the old log-in info.
