In Kuala Lumpur I seen the J Tune done at the Omori Factory for the Prince of Johor Malaysia it's a one off build. Also they had the Active Garage Carbon R midnight purple R32GTR both were awesome. Its was the KL Tokyo Auto Salon, but for sure was nothing like the real Auto Salon but still Malaysia has some big money and crazy cars.

These cars bring me home to the 90s when I was living in Okinawa Japan and these cars were epic then seeing The culture has grasped and is saving them is so brilliant and hart warming. I purchased a gunmetal grey R31 for I kid you not a Case of Orion beer and drifting that car around Okinawa listening to that inline turbo charged 6 cylinder screen was the most amazing part of the experience. Cherish these years and grabbing any part of the lineage of the R series Skylines you can while they are still available. They truly are a beautiful sleak and iconic sexy car. Thanks Sam for taking me back home today and for letting the rest of the world know there's no place like Japan especially the way you and I have been able to get to know her! If you are getting down just lift your gaze up and realize that you are killing it and living the dream brother and a 5 minute walk from home you have a very special space in which you have an iconic life this is your story and getting back to what made you fall in love with Japan it's that cultural experience and the amazing sights that are everywhere around you!

Back then we that were serving would have to leave the island sometimes on short notice the guy I got it from was being medically discharged and wanted to have a beer with a few friends and knew it had to ether go to the junkyard or get sold before he left he was wanting a friend to have it and i was the first person he talked to abot it and i jumped on it and the rest was history. I wish I could have sent it home but as you know 25 Year old cars are now available for exporting. I passed it along in the same manner to a friend for a Kenwood stack stereo and Bowes speaker combo. It was a win win for everyone involved.

Sammit...you forgot the "Holy Grail" of GTR's....the HKS Zero R, that is rarer than the 400R and Z-Tune....as there is only 4 in existence, 3 of them are at HKS HQ, the 4th was sold to the Sultan of Brunei 😁👍

The GTR50!!!! They only made 50 (go figure lol) those are the best looking R35 GTRs by a long shot. Which is crazy cuz they were partially designed by an American team iirc, usually the killshot for a Japanese-based cars looks lol. But there are blue metallic ones that are incredible looking, i think the Wikipedia page has a pic - stunning! Way better fron fender geometry for sure
