I definitely appreciate you guys. I've had mine in the shop a couple of times for some breakdowns. (None the fault of the car) and the Master Techs that took care of me were top notch. I've blown open an injector. Previous owner used, used injectors. You can blow air with your mouth through it. Flex fuel sensor shorted due to previous owner installing poorly. Then I blew my transmission up last summer.... 🙄. 5th gear stripped 1/3 the teeth off and the Synchro was destroyed.

I wish I could afford one. I’m most struck by the number of times the Nissan employees used the word “customer.” They really bought into the focus: “make the best car for the customer” and not “make the best car.” That’s a significant difference. Others may make fast, but uncomfortable, cars that you can barely climb into. I respect what Nissan did here.

@@Mikey6048Go drive them all and you'll see why. The R35 is a driving appliance. It takes much of the skill out of the equation. Your mother could get in it and drive it fast! maybe that's the point....I've owned the R34 GTR and an R35 at the same time. I drove, and pushed them both all the time. The R34 was exciting, and fun, yet could be a calm daily driver. The R35 felt like a Maxima that was stupid fast. In other words, boring. If I were to own another, I'd get an R32. It has almost the same drive train as an R34, but it's significantly lighter and by far the most fun to drive. I guess this is kind of happening to most cars nowadays unfortunately..... One of the reasons older cars are going through the roof in value. The 35 is a great car, but "the best GTR" is debatable.

In March 2024 I found a beautiful 2019 Nismo 370 one owner with 19,000 MI. I imported the car from Canada to Tampa Florida. The original owner took such good care of this car and upgraded to a GTR. I knew nothing about the platform whatsoever and I just needed a change from the Dodge Challenger. The literal moment that I sat in the car I smiled ear to ear. I felt like I was in my own personal rocket ship and to this very day I still feel like I get in a cockpit. I see a GTR someday in my future this car is fascinating. My 370 is a standard 6-speed, and she pulls in every gear. I've never had so much fun driving a car. I can't even imagine what the GTR must be like.
