Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy the video. If you are new here, my channel mostly consists of railroad videography from around the Northeastern USA. Please note that all content that I post is mine and should not be used without my consent. About this video: On August 20 and 21, 2024, Bay Crane was tasked with moving a massive 1,000,000 pound transformer between Bedford and Amherst, NH. The move was slow and required large disruptions of traffic along the route resulting in it being done over the course of two nights. I was in the area of its route on the evening of August 21, so I ended up chasing it to multiple locations in both Bedford and Amherst. Although similar to many moves that have occurred on the railroad, this operation was like nothing I had seen before and because of that I felt it deserved its own post here. My regular content for the month of August will resume after this video - I hope everyone enjoys this unusual diversion from railroad videos until then.
