Wow, both the oldest 847 and newest 1857 rotems both in one train set, cool. 😊

Is 800 not the oldest rotem?
@ericschwartz355925 күн бұрын
Yes, 800 was built in 2012 and part of the 2012-2015 rotems the first-generation. So, yes, it’s considered to be the oldest rotem at 12 years old. The very first of its class built (800s). 1800 was the very first control car of the series built in 2012 (1800s) and is 12 years old also. Hope this helps and answers your question.

Just a heads up, 1859 entered service two and a half weeks ago. 883, 884 and 1864, 1865 delivered on the afternoon of 06/19/24. 885, 886 and 1866, 1867 will arrive next month, followed by 1868, 1869 and 1870 in mid-August, once those three cab cars are delivered, the full order will finally be completed. By December 2024, all 83 new Rotems should be in service. 1860 will be next to enter service sometime next week, followed by 1861 in early July.

Do you know anything about 1832,1833 and their trailers? I don’t think they’ve ever been in service but i’ve seen videos of them in Massachusetts.

No, I don’t know why those four haven’t entered service yet. They have been listed as in testing since delivery in the fall of 2022. 1830, 1831 and 849, 850 entered service in mid-April 2023, then they just skipped to 1834 and 853. I wonder if 1832, 1833 and 851, 852 will ever enter service also.
