Even though I love the looks of the SLS and consider it one of the meanest looking cars from the sideview I find the interior almost ancient. The 0-9 keyboard at the left is really dated. The steering wheel worse than a c class... The single color pixel screen was also behind its time...

Most of the times on this channel the owners are not running the original wheels. So usually its not the speedo, just that the new circumference is offsetting it.

@@soulmind9983 Its actually illegal to run out of spec circumferences here in the NL. It's just never acted upon. You're supposed to stay within 2% i think. And its actually pretty difficult to manage, because of wheel size, width and tire combinations being available.

@@jonasjonaitis8571 Mate, its a basic hall sensor on the wheel or crank that measures revolutions and calculates a speed based on tire circumference. It doesn't take much for it to be accurate. It just takes an owner to keep the original wheels, or adjust it if they change it outside spec...

@@The_Noticer. I don't think that's the reason tbh. On the cars I have watched and have been in, the speedometer is always off by 5-15 kph no matter the wheels. I think it's more to do that measuring speed in wheel rotation will never be as accurate as measuring speed based on GPS.

It's disappointing that the gearing is so short. 7th gear and 7800 rpm at under 320 means that it will flat out at 330km/h, and the rest of the speedometer is only for show. :'(

@@max.racing Yeah, the actual gearing of it is for a track car where the gears are so close to each other and the car is probably not the best for daily driving or on the Autobahn. I'm pretty sure that the car would do 100 km/h @ 2500rpm.
