All you need is the 18 inch wheels I recommend bead lock with a slick . Mickey Thompson is working on a slick for the gt 500

Nitto is not a gt500 tire , for the track junk you need m/t slick with 18 signature bead locks if you have the power you're claim .I have 825 to the whp .10 .2 @144 on toyo 888r and they can't handle the power !!!! Real talk my car is at #### whp and bead lock wheel's with m/t spinning ain't winning.in May I'll I'll let you know my times

You probably figured this out by now but in this video you're running the wrong wheels and tires for drag racing. All the burn outs in the world aren't going to help you when you have no sidewall and surface contact on the track, all you're doing is burning off expensive rubber and polluting the air. The amount of surface area on the track from your tires is negligible, you may as well run steel wheels from a train. Why do you think serious drag racers have a lot more sidewall on their rear tires, the same reason tanks and bulldozers use tracks, lots of surface area contacting the ground. You want your tires to squat from the start and create a larger patch of rubber on the road and then after you launch forward and the tires are spinning fast enough they expand due to centrifugal force.
