Dividends are amazing. For diversification, I occasionally utilise my dividends to purchase growth and dividend equities rather than reinvesting in the same stock. However, everyone has their own methods. The good news is that you are making an initial investment, which is what matters most. Bravo on the content!

My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.

Yes, I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k.

You are right on track . For the last 9 years working for a bulk trash company, I have bought one share of companies that pay an annual dividend of $4.00 a share. I developed a list of 159 companies. I own half of them with the goal of owning all of them, and targeting two companies to buy monthly to generate annual income as you were telling your watchers of this video today. Keep up the great work to inspire and inform us to create generational wealth. Leonard

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

Here's the thing...If you building one share at a time, your DRIP isn't going to be buying you a whole share at first. So that first few drips gonna be buying you fractional shares. Also why take the risk of buying individual stocks for dividends when you could buy a dividend ETF and get the safety of diversification while still getting to the dividend yield you want?

I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.

All faaaaaaaaacccccctttttssss. My condo, I put $60K down to acquire it. I'm making ~$250 a month. There are monthly paying dividend stocks that would pay me $500 a month. The only difference is I'm paying taxes on the dividends. But I'm not dealing with tenants, repairs, etc.

You shouldn’t be dealing with tenants any that’s your first mistake. If you buy right repairs happen later. And when it dies it’s a write off. Dividends aren’t a tax shelter. You need to combine the two.

Another helpful video for introducing people to the different aspects of investing. I decided to create a portfolio that focused on dividend income and figured this out a few months ago while looking at REITs. At first, I was thinking I would profit $1k per month until I realized that the rate was yearly with a quarterly dividend; there are some that pay a monthly dividend. That $1k is a little more than $83/mo., which means that I have to up my investments, if I want more than $83/mo.🤔 My goal is to have enough dividend income to cover my housing expenses. 🙂

The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.

I totally agree; I am 66 years old, recently retired, with approximately $1.2 million in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, I didn't do all this alone, but with the help of a financial advisor. Having one is currently the best way to trade in the stock market, especially for people nearing retirement.

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or whenever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

People (especially black folks) will fight the idea of spending $167,000 on Costco stocks to get $1,000/month in dividends (passive income)…. ….but then they’ll go to the Mercedes dealer and finance a $167,000 G Wagon which will COST them $1,000/month at 10% interest, spending probably $267,000 over the course of 5-6 years 🤦🏽‍♂️. Anyways, I love this video man, as I’m just entering the stock market arena. 👍🏽👍🏽
