Yup ! causes the primer to set off the rounds , both bullets and cartridges become projectiles that can kill easily. the fireworks were most likely to cause a huge marina fire.

@@luisgordillo1695 Actually that is both correct and incorrect. While the round will cook off without a chamber or barrel to contain expanding gasses of the cartridge the bullet will indeed pop out but with barely enough velocity to go more than a few feet. And remember your physics, without containment the casing will also move but less than the projectile due to its significantly lesser mass. In either case unless you’re within say, five yards you wouldn’t get much more than bruise. Within five yards you might need some gauze.

@Kestrylll yes . I agree with you but have to also account for the variables! Storage containers and the size of the rounds have a lot to do with it also. Smaller rounds are nastier. While bigger rounds are more heat resistant. But when it comes to close quarter's bullets will shoot with equal power as a gun. Example is that when a gun shoots from a 6 barrel the cartridges slide out of the chambers easily! Indicating zero expansion! Meaning the bullet and cartridge can only go opposite each other. Focus power is determined by the way shot or stored.
