Why do the Spartans not fight as they did historically? They would would have fought in a phalanx (φάλαγξ) using σάρισα which were spears 4 to 6 meters long.

Look, I, know, it's just, a game. Even, using modern weapons, I.E., hand guns, or light machine guns. Like. M-16's, or even P-90's(US). There's, "no" way, human's, would, win a confortation, between, T-Rex's. I, know, I, know, it's, just a game. But, no, f*cking, way, do the, Spartans win. Even, with modern weapons, you, would need, some thing like 1 50-cal. per every, 2 or 3 T-Rex's and, that's, only, if you were, only, shooting at their heads.

20 Spartans trained from birth could easily take down a T-rex with their spears. They'd take out their legs and a couple of spears to the head would kill it. They'd lose the men who confront it head on but T-rexes are just flesh and bone. The only weapons it has are its teeth and tail. The tail could take out multiple attackers but it can only eat one Spartan at a time. I'd say the Spartans would lose about 10-15 men per T-rex.
