You often see LS-swapped Japanese cars, but what about reversing that? Not many people have thought about popping a screaming rotary engine into an American muscle car, but it works way more than you'd think.
Alex Hildebrand and his team shocked the drifting world with this incredibly cool Corvette C6 and its new Japanese heart. The antithesis of the LS-powered RX-7 of a certain Mad Mike.

In the late 80's I had an Rx-7 that I loved. Years later I had a C-6 Z-06 with the notorious Ls-7 engine. Popped the heads off and replaced them with a custom as well as a custom cam and the boost went to 590 at the wheels. But never in a million years would I have done this. I hope he enjoys the whip. It looks beautiful and seems to perform like a boss!

*someone LS swaps a RX7* man that's a lot of steps for a Corvette. *This guy swaps a rotary into a Corvette* man this is a lot of steps to drive a XL sized RX7.

Is it just me or the corvette platform can perfom like an overgrown kart, but the original engine seems to make it handle like a boat? 😂😂
