@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
Yay, thank you! 😁 I definitely haven't experienced getting acne caused from dermarolling, if that's what you mean. But dermarolling doesn't prevent new pimples from popping up either so yes I've had pimples popping up here and there. I just avoid them when I dermaroll and always try to keep my stress levels down, as that has constantly been the reason for my random breakouts. 🤗

Hi i hope you would notice me ? What are the first step should i do when its my first time to use the derma roller ? Is it okay if i only use The Serum ( Solution ) Before and After i derma roll? Coz its too expensive for me if gonna use all the product you are using 😁
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls3 жыл бұрын
Hello! If it's your first time, I highly recommend doing a patch test. Disinfect the needles of the dermaroller by pouring 70% isopropyl alcohol. Make sure the area you're about to dermaroll is clean as well as your hands. Roll in one direction lightly, then lift up off the skin, then roll in a different direction. Repeat this cycle a few times and see how your skin reacts. Apply a moisturizer that has no active ingredients in it that can irritate the skin or any sheet mask. Make sure to disinfect the dermaroller again when you're done! I also would make sure the dermaroller is not a fake one. Gin Amber's dermarollers aren't too expensive if you wanna give those a try!

I have used different types of both in the past, yes. Tretinoin is probably my best bet if I decide to ever try a retinoid again. I noticed Gin Amber has a 0.6 stamp. Do you think it’s better to move from a 0.5mm dermaroller to a 0.75 dermaroller, or to that 0.6 stamp? I have many deep scars on my cheeks, so I wonder if the stamp being so tiny would be more time consuming to use than a dermaroller. Unless the stamp is the safer method? I’m also curious if the numbing cream isn’t effective if you chose the stamp over the roller for pain reasons?
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
Hm, it may be different for everyone but it's really all about doing what you're comfortable with. If you don't think you're ready for a 0.75 after the 0.5, give the 0.6 stamp a shot. I personally felt good about transitioning from 0.5 to 0.75. Some people say stamp is safer than dermarolling but my experience says both are equally great! Oh no, the numbing cream is definitely very effective. I don't know why stamping seems less painful than dermarolling but I don't think I'd ever do either without numbing first haha. 😆
@Nikita-to2sg2 жыл бұрын
@@ThatGirlwiththeCurls Thank you for sharing your experience! I am actually thinking of using a microneedling pen and maybe using a stamping motion with that around the deeper scars. I just heard that it can drag if it’s not smooth skin…but I also heard a pen is better than a stamp. You look so cute when you puff up your face. 😆 But I can see a difference from your very first video compared to this one. So, I say just keep it up and be consistent with it. The 1.0-1.5mm are what gave me noticeable results. The shorter ones were just too small for what I was trying to achieve. I have this adjustable derma stamp that covers a larger surface area so maybe that's something you could possibly look into buying if your current stamp is too small and time-consuming for you to use. And I also like that you can adjust the length to your liking depending on which area you're working with. But I do want to try the roller since it seems a lot faster to use. I've only tried the stamping.
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
I agree! I feel like the sizes before this one just weren't long enough for my deep scars but it did help me gain the strength to get to this size haha! I got the aquapen which I believe is similar to the dermapen. Hello! Its always better to start off with a smaller size just to see how your skin will react. Patch testing is definitely recommended especially if you have sensitive skin. You don’t have to use the smaller sizes all ten times. Move up in size when you know your skin is okay to.
