Your scars are so similar. Just like mine. My confidence is literally dead at this moment. Your videos really helped me for one of my biggest insecurity. Thankyou.
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
Aw, I understand how you feel! But don't let those silly scars destroy your confidence! I often have to remind myself that my flaws/insecurities aren't as a big a deal as I think and that they do not define who I am as a person. Sounds corny, I know, but it's the truth and I hope it helps you as it has me! Hang in there, sister! We're all in this together!
@ananas37542 жыл бұрын
Woooow your scars look so much better! I've also been using a dermapen on my scars for about 2 months now and I feel like I see some improvement. I read that the final result of the collagen growth won't be visible before 6 months or so after the needling, so I guess we need patience :) Actually I started microneedling after your videos convinced me to do it and they give me lots of hope that it will be worth it. :) Microneedling really does work for acne scars! I wish you all the best!
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
Aw, really?! Yay! I'm so so glad to hear that! And ya, I hear collagen takes months to develop so we gotta give it time and stay consistent! Thank you so much and best of luck on your journey!! 😁😆

Consider finding out what the culprit is for your breakouts, everyone's body is different. For me it was dairy. I can't say for sure, but my guess is that some hormone in milk causes the skin on my face to overreact to presence of certain bacteria. I'm so sad that it took me years to realize cutting dairy out completely would almost completely cure my acne. I'm just left with the acne scars.
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
Aw, same here. Finding out the culprit, the source/core cause is the best way to tackle acne. Unfortunately, since everyone's body works differently, there is no easy way..But I'm glad people share their journeys to help others get closer to figuring out the source of their skin concerns!

@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
It's not recommended to use a size larger than 1.0mm at home. Why don't you try 1.0mm for a bit first and see how you like the results. Make sure to give your skin time to form collagen (it can take up to six months).

gin ambers dermapens arent very good, not bad just basic, and i suggest you use the same amount of money to get a dr pen which allows you to adjust the speed and depth of the needles
@ThatGirlwiththeCurls2 жыл бұрын
I do hear lots of great things about dr pen but to be fair, you can adjust speed and the length of the needles of Gin Amber's aquapen. Just not to the length of dr pen, which I am nervous to go past 1.0mm. I need to look into it more though!

Nope, I have a video on how I got rid of my acne but it narrows down to trial and error on what you consume. For me, it was cutting back on sugar and drinking more water throughout the day. Also reducing stress!
