Indian batters looks a million dollars and getd out- KL, JAISWAL, GILL, PANT ETC. BUT AUSSIE Batsmen looks bad but makes good runs. Indian batters seems to have a plan of never going in backfoot. Particularly Kohli. In his prime days, he had no problems. But now he looks like he forgot he has a backfoot to fall back onto. He doesn't have a convincing pull or hook anymore.
@Sadabahar62Ай бұрын
Nobody talks about it but imo Gill is the key batter for India rest of the series . He seemed to have extra time as he does usually until he got that unplayable delivery from starc . I bet his scores improve from here and that’ll provide stability to India at the top .

India could now look at Jadeja to play as our strongest batting option amongst the spinners. Add some depth to the batting lineup
@dochalovic5899Ай бұрын
I love your analyses. However, it is a bit difficult to follow your whiteboard prompts. This is because of light reflecting off the board, your head being in the way, especially when you turn your head, and the accumulation of your penstrokes over the course of the video. Have you thought of using a spreadsheet type of program with a voice over and screen recorder? You could even weight different factors on their relative influence in the spreadsheet, and automatically output a figure on how likely it is for either side to win. Just some thoughts and feedback. Accept or refute as you see fit.

Series is abt how many out of form batsmen would return to form, both teams have them in bundles. Rahul, Kohli were the difference in Perth. Head, Marnus in Pink ball test. Guys like Jaiswal, Bumrah, Aussie bowlers are in form coming into the series & them doing well is an expectation. Head was out of form this yr in tests too before you attack me
@KamalPreetSinghGillАй бұрын
India went wrong with their selection in this match along with bad batting… Akashdeep was way better option under lights than Rana, he is skiddy swing bowler. Similarly Jadeja should have been picked instead of Ashwin for D/N
@Lampredi4Ай бұрын
I’ve been wondering about this for a while now, but what happened to the tidy part-timers? There used to be a genre of batters who were good for 6-7 overs like the Waughs, Jayasuriya, Tendulkar, and Dilshan who could reliably keep the scoring rate down once the ball was soft. Of late, the only examples of this once ubiquitous genus I can think of is Joe Root and arguably Glenn Phillips. I recall Kohli used to play this role for India in the early 2010s, and Smith did the same when Pup was still captain. I was just wondering what changed such that this is not an option for teams anymore and they’re having to overexert their gun bowlers to make up
@sabyasachighosh6252Ай бұрын
India should go with 4 frontline seamers + Jadeja. This is the proven tactic for wins in SENA countries for India under Virat and Rohit's captaincy. Think of our fast bowling attacks over last five years: 1) Bumrah, Shami, Ishant, Umesh 2) Bumrah, Shami, Siraj, Shardul 3) Siraj, Saini, Natarajan, Shardul (at Gabba last series) We should now go with: Bumrah, Siraj, Akash Deep, Prasidh. Four frontline fast bowlers should be able to bowl out australia for less than 200 in both innings.
@YashThaker-q3rАй бұрын
thats actually a pretty good point, but thats when we actually made runs. ig we need depth a lot more now. but also, that means leaving out either rahul/rohit/NKR and who's sitting out out of them? rahul looked rly good in perth, rohits the captain and NKR has been phenomenal
