Can I ask the brand of the zip folders you're using? I never seem to be able to find any with D-rings or that can accommodate so many sleeved pages. I'm currently making use of some card collector zipfolios but as good as the quality is, they're pricey and limited in how many cards you can put in due to fixed pages.

The base set has some no-sheen cards. They are not too hard to find if you have access to a lot of NM base commons.

Do you know how to recognize them, or where they originate from? I know for example that the Jungle cards from Australian Red Logo packs have even more Sheen/Semi-Glossy back as the Charmander you've shown. I didn't even knew this Sheen variation existed in Base Set cards. As a Pikachu collector I'm certainly interested in hearing this. Does this only apply to unlimited edition ©1999 cards? Or also to 1st/shadowless/©1999-2000? EDIT: Cancel the last question, I just re-watched the part, and you said it only applied to 1st edition Rares and unlimited edition Commons and Energies.
