in my opinion this machine is call the first mass-production mobile suit because the RGM-79 is just a rush deployment machine. In the 08MS we are introduce with the RGM-79e and RGM-79G both are being mass-produce to gather data. After operation Odessa, the RGM-79 is be deploy as an early stage of mass-produce mobile suit using beam gun. The data from the RGM-79 gather then lead to the upgrade in the original design which in turn lead to the replace of the RGM-79 with the true first mass-produce mobile suit the RGM-79C in the Battle of A Baoa Qu. this is only what I think why the RGM-79C is Federation first mass-production mobile suit

Do I want to buy this... YEA! In my opinion this kit is great, especally for the time... and I like the "Inner Frame" parts on the legs/arms with these pistons and tubes. And a nice video btw !!!

His waist is super-wobbly! I like to consider this suit as an upgrade of the original GM, produced after the one year war. (i know it's wrong, since this suit appeared in MS igloo) Of course the HGUC has better articulation, it came out in 2006..

The type-c is the first complete GM in mass production. The previous variants were seriously lacking in the performance Department. Yes they performed better than the standard zaku ii but you have to remember that the zaku was never designed to fight other mobile suits. When it was designed the Federation didn't have any. The same goes for the guf and the Dom.

Just managed to get this. Gonna arm it with the Beam Spray gun and pose it with my Ver Ka Ball like a scene out of MS Igloo.

I think the long machine rifle should have been given to the RGM-79C 'Commando' Unit as well as the 'Space' unit shown here. For some reason, it was omitted from the kit, when it would have been moulded on the sprue, since the kits are also identical, save for the removal of the long machine rifle. The Commando unit even has the same carry fittings for it and the included carbine.
