Huh? In Indonesia, Bandai old gunpla reprints costs the same as new one, at least for the HGUC series. Also, HG price have been increased for the last 3-4 months. Outside the 30MM kits, gunpla is now officially beyond my reach. Anyway, at least I still able to pay for the utility bills and eat. Not like I can eat gunpla.

The price hike will make me buy less kits. I already have a hard time justifying certain kit prices but if everything is increasing then I will just have to find something else. I understand why and that its cheeper than some other brands but I have already cut ties with buying certain brands so it will just help me save money I guess.

Well I just want to make a comment that when comparing colony drop to atomic bomb, there is a reason why nobody in US complains about using WMD. Most of people in US think dropping atomic bombs were necessary to prevent prolonging war. I really don’t understand why anyone would be upset about a 1-5 dollar price increase. In order for them to keep making kits, they need to be profitable. Even the 10.00+ one. It’s nothing to even worry about. With how cheap those HG kits are anyway, it’s is what it is.

Yeah this price hike was bound to happen sooner or later, a little surprised it didnt come sooner. Between global inflation, petroleum prices, and the ever growing demand of bandai products, they were bound to hike up prices But 40 years though is incredible as many of my other hobbies including other plastic hobbies like Lego and Warhammer have had price hikes almost annually. Bandai cant help but keep me buying RG these past 4-5 years, and I am not complaining haha

As a european outside the EU, I fear even if the PBan rework means it’ll cover more than France it won’t cover those outside EU, which means no Norway, UK or Switzerland. It’s already annoying enough that some of the biggest Gunpla stores in Europe are strictly EU

Hobby Frontline is in Ireland, if I remember correctly, and they have some P-Bandai stuff too - assuming that you count the perpetually sold out items too. And willing to ignore the horrible prices that unfortunately seem to be the correct ones. Personally I would love if Bandai would figure out the legal minimum requirements of declaring something to be a "domestic product" of the EU, that would allow us to get fair prices instead of the current ones that have the import fees on them.

Really annoyed with sunrise milking seed freedom. They released an incomplete move world wide with only 1 showing in 1 day. Then release a so called "special" edition of the movie only watchable in Asia. Now they making a prequel movie that will most likely only be watchable in Asia. I hate this Japanese business method cause it just annoying and screws over international fans. If the damn movie was incomplete just wait to release it till its fully done.
