There is not one project that you have done that I haven't liked. I enjoy watching your tutorials because they are concise and the item is always beautifully finished. I love your squirrel friend too.

Another great tutorial Julie, I purchased two of your books last week, and I'm off to buy some wood tomorrow, I've been watching all of your tutorials and it's got my fingers itching, I haven't done anything with my dolls houses for a few years, but hopefully they will be "liveable" soon. x

I will try this beautiful crib for my little me. Will you teach us how to make a tiny teddy bear 🧸 for it???? Thank you so much. Love your videos. Waiting for my second book to arrive!!!! 🙃

Thank you Mariza, I'm glad you're going to give the crib a go. I'm afraid Teddy bears aren't my line of expertise, although I wish they were! :)

It seems over here in Florida obeche wood in the sizes you mention is as rare as hens teeth. Base (no I have not miss spelt Balsa) wood seems to be the alternative.
@jerrilynnroth21177 жыл бұрын
Ian Scott I'm glad you've specified the wood you use. Obeche is not available any where near Hilton Head Island either. I'm willing to say I'll find a hen with teeth before I find obeche. Lol
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
I haven't used Basewood (is that used for making guitars?) Another alternative is Basswood, also known as Limewood.
@ian1957ruth7 жыл бұрын
I may have to dye my hair blond to match the moment I may have had. I saw basswood but read basewood.
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
I think there is a wood called Basewood though...
@connieb61617 жыл бұрын
Basswood is a good replacement. Don’t use Balsa. Way too Soft.

I wish I could give this a "love" instead of a like. I must say though... kind of miss watching you apply glue and make both halves and stuff. I know you're probably trying to shorten your videos (I've seen the comments about length) but I really enjoy how thorough your videos have been. Also... more nursery furniture would be amazing to see! I've missed the squirrel 😂
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I have been trying to edit the videos a bit better, but also trying to find a balance between being thorough but not too long! I will add some more nursery projects to my list. I'll tell the squirrel you say hello! :)

this is cute but I really want to make one from my 1/6 bjd which is 28cm I can't fine any cot for my doll in his size
@JulieWarren6 ай бұрын
This piece is pretty easy to adapt, if your doll is 1/6, you can just double the measurements I’ve given. 😄

😹😹I don’t believe I have both those books that you used to weight it all down been a while since I have read either of them 😹😹😹 I love the cot but was wondering how hard it would be to make it with one side can be raised and lowered like a real cot.🤔🤔🤔
@JulieWarren6 жыл бұрын
That a coincidence about the books, although I do have rather a lot!! The cot could be make with a sliding side, you would need to create a runner on two of the side legs using thin stripwood and do it that way I think.
@dawsie6 жыл бұрын
Julie Warren lol it could be a coincident lol was just so funny to see lol. Yes I was thinking along the lines of that for a movable cot side next time I am in the city I will look at the nursery section of the shop I go to and have a look. Will have to take some photos so I know what I will be doing 😸😸

Please by Any chance you could post a PDF cutting list?
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure how I would do that...?
@ian1957ruth7 жыл бұрын
If you type the cutting list into a word type program then save as a PDF then link it in your show notes. I also think you can do the same on FB.
@JulieWarren7 жыл бұрын
I have the PDF, but there's no way of attaching anything in the notes. If you pause on the cutting list, you should be able to do a screen print.
