To answer your question: I have a preference for longer let’s-plays because I feel it gives the creator more room to capture progress/do projects - which obviously I could be wrong from your perspective because I know it takes a while to edit and whatnot. Here's a friendly 1.17 tip for you Tootsie, you can use fortune on iron, copper, and gold because it drops raw materials now, so once you get the librarian to trade it to you (or get the enchantment), material shortage shouldn't be a problem :). And also why don't you turn on captions for all the different sounds, It's really good for finding caves and different structures.

I love parrots as well XD I have almost 20 in one game and they’ve taken everywhere from 1 to 1 stack of seeds to tame. Also: omg Tootsie that was the rarest axolotl color! Have you had any troubles finding diamonds? I’ve been mining for 20 Minecraft days, and went through 15+ iron pickaxes and I’ve only found one ore!?? I’ve read that the devs made this bug on accident, and basically all the diamonds are coded to spawn under Y -53 because they forgot to remove the code when releasing 1.17

@@Dink_13 you only need diamonds for jukeboxes and enchanting tables. You can actually reach God armour without mining by villager trading system. Leave the mining searching for when you get to the end cities. Diamond ores are kinda rare until they release the bug fixes I think next month

Pro Tip: Mushrooms are good for stew when you are out adventuring. So, always keep 2 stacks or more of red and brown mushrooms on you with a bowl as while. Also, a bucket and crafting table (and tool station or kits if you are playing with tinkers) is good to have on you at all times as while as torches and coal and sticks (or wood) to make more torches. Also, a furnace could be handy if you need to cook up food or other things. So, best to keep a stack of cobble on you. Dirt can be used if you don't have cobble for fulling holes or for building pillars, but in 1.13? and newer I would recommend scaffolding from vanilla and in older versions, I would recommend using scaffolding from mods if you want to pillar up if you're playing modded Minecraft. Either way, always cross off your checklist before adventuring. You don't want to run back to your base to get what you need or have to gather stuff your not looking for when your out because this makes it harder to hold what you need since you filled your inventory with stuff you need because you forgot to get it before you left. Also, backpacks or some type of bag are useful when traveling from place to place, if you have one in your game.

Pro Tip: Parrots can be put on your shoulders and head. You can carry a total of three parrots in vanilla. However, you can tame as many parrots as you would like. Also, leads are good for transport mobs both in and out of boats. With mods, you can tie boats together or make bigger boats for more transport of mobs and/or stuff (loot and/or supplies) or as a portable home if you use the Devinci Vessels/Archimedes Ships.

Pro Tip: Villages can also be a good source of food early game and sometimes even into mid-game if you are lazy about building a farm or you're out and are too far from your nearest farm. Either way, always get wheat seeds as early as possible or some type of crop that is easy to get. Potatoes are a good source of food once you've built a potato farm.
