The axolotls and glow squid spawn in "dark" water, such as underwater caves, but they will also spawn in pretty much any water as long as there are blocks above. I have a glacier biome next to my base and they're always spawning under the frozen water. Keep an eye out for the super rare Blue Axolotl.

Hello Tootsie. It was a lucky seed! Also don't break the amethyst with an X on them since they are the only block amethyst that naturally grows on. Lichen is found on trees too! It’s that green filmy stuff that grows on trunks! In university, my freshman year, we had to do an experiment in lab where we went outside and had to calculate the percentage of lichen on some trees.

It also grows on rocks and concrete. It's the first step from rock (or concrete in modern day) to eventual forest since it's gonna settle even before the moss. Tough organisms, hard to get rid off too, they love sticking to surfaces just a bit too much

You actually dont need nametags to name the axolotol, you can use an anvil and rename the bucket of axolotol and it automatically names the axolotol. Axolotols dont despawn after you put them in a bucket:D

Tootsie, dear, you can rename an "axolotl in a bucket" in and anvil and it will keep it's even when you place it & if you pick it back up it'll still keep the name, also works on fish in a bucket. Ahhhh... cringing... breaking the amethyst block with the X is bad if you farming the shards... that block is called a blooming amethyst and grow the shard clusters, also only the big ones drop shards.

Tootsie, glow squids and axolotls have a very small requirement to spawn, you can even make them spawn under your house, they just require a low y level, full stone floor,darkness, space and a lot of water, you can make such an arrangement at the low y levels you don't mine, like from y14 to y20, but the floor should be perfectly stone, here you can have more chance of getting the rare blue axolotl, personally which I would name as Mudkip 😊

Facts about amethyst geodes - there are 5 main blocks: 1. smooth basalt 2. calcite 3. block of amethyst 4. budding amethyst (not gettable) 5. the amethyst crystals Only the fully grown amethyst crystals give you stuff. Premature crystals drop nothing. Amethyst blocks cannt be made back into amethyst shards. Anethyst sounds like wind chimes. Amethyst geodes are actually really common. They are made hard to find because of them spawning at varying y-levels buried underground. If you removed all the stone and deepslate from the world, they become super easy to see everywhere.

As a tip for the next time you find amethyst: the blocks with the cracks are the only blocks that generate the amethyst spikes/buds! You can’t get them with silk touch, so try not to break them! And you can get the different sizes in spikes/buds with silk touch!

You can name axolotl while they are in a bucket! Put the bucket of axolotl in an anvil and name it, when set free they have that name as a nametag. Works for fish in buckets too!

U can indeed get those amethyst crystals, and place them anywhere u want mining it with a silk touch pick (also they aren’t rlly rare, the Geod stuff), but u can indeed get a spy glass with some copper and amethyst shards, like not mining them with silk touch.

U don't need a nametag for the axolotl because once u have picked it up in a bucket and put it back down it will not despawn and also u can put it in a bucket and then put it in an anvil and rename the "Bucket of axolotl" into whatever u want to name it and when u put it down and the axolotl will be named the name that u want btw I think ur Minecraft skin is lovely and ur voice too😆
