I love the fact that jungles are more common I use to search for hours for a jungle biome, first world I started up I spawned in a jungle that was blended into a desert biome with a village near the boarder and right under it is a giant underground ocean. Really liking the world generation in this update makes exploring alot more fun.

Wattles, the mob head drops are very low, common mobs have a low chance of dropping their head, and rare mobs have a much higher chance of dropping. If you kill your self you always get it.

I usually try to find a plains village and basically make a base there and upgrade the main houses like black smith. Fletcher. Ext. Then build stuff I might need like a trading hall. Animal farm. Storage area. Maybe use this as inspiration.

For now we will have to make do with Optifine's Dynamic Lighting feature, but seriously, it needs to be vanilla already. It's such a hassle to put torches everywhere when you just wanna take one look inside a cave and leave.

The lighthouse story is from Denmark, and it's called "Rubjerg Knude Fyr" (Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse). What a wise Grandma. 6:04. It's correct. In 2019 they moved a lighthouse, from 1900, about 70m within 6 hours.

i’ve noticed the increase of jungles in this update, too. i’m glad they’re more common, but they’re almost a little too common. i’ve had a jungle at/near spawn in every new seed i’ve made so far. i do want them to be more common than before, but i also am already starting to get bored with them. i still want to feel excited when i find one 😂

I went exploring in new 1.18 terrain in my bedrock edition world and I’ve got some complaining to do: Numero uno: tropical fish are everywhere, just in random rivers and stuff? Numero dos: shipwrecks are weird and they’re just floating on top of the water Numero tres: the most devious offender, boats are fricking annoying, they just disappear if I leave them too close to land I know nobody cares but leave your complaints down here consider it therapy

Quick tip, spruce wood really brings out the dark and light colors in a build. And also, use trap doors for extra detail! It really pops out! 👍😎😊

You know, I actually really like the lighthouse. It's simple, warm and uses one of the most underrated combo's of blocks (I usually use acacia instead of copper, but the same rule applies). The only thing I would change, would be to remove the wooden base and just make it like the top section going all the way don to the cobblestone. Aside from that, well done!

I went through a lot of seeds and finally found one I wanted to start a hardcore on. I dont like being high in the mountains at spawn but I want them close. I havent had much luck finding diamonds so far but I go an iron farm going and got lucky and got a skeleton trap horse.

I just started a new world myself and found the coolest generation it was a massive mountain range with a small valley in the middle surrounded by mountains its at like y 100. it looked so cool I'm planning on making my base there with me making like levels with a winding stair case and buildings sticking out the mountains and stuff its gonna be really awesome

If you ever come back to the lighthouse I suggest putting a transition inbetween the colors in it. Perhaps trapdoors can add a bit more depth and synergy.

I've found plenty of jungle biomes and I always seem to spawn near savanna. But one thing that is hard to find in my experience is large deserts

Wattles, there’s so many ores in the water because air exposure was reduced for ores. Them being covered in water does not count as exposed to air, so they generate more in oceans, rivers, and aquifers.

The inside of a lighthouse is of course a dark spooky spiral staircase up and a big heavy wooden door blocking off where the lighthouse master sleeps (with the heaviest blankets on the market) and prepares food.

I too have started a new 1.18 world, and I've picked a nice seed that has a woodland mansion about 150-ish blocks north of spawn. I've never turned one into a base because I've never had one close enough to spawn (I don't want to explore and generate a lot of the world because laptop is poop). But until I'm geared up enough (now that I think about it, I should be good now) I've been living in a cave that I've slowly started turning in my home. It always happens to me. I don't know how to make houses, so I settle down into the first cave system that I find and slowly turn it into my home. Which this cave system is rather nice (lush) and I have a skelly spawner pretty close by, which is something I always have trouble finding.

So much I need to learn about this new update, I was playing All the Mods 6 during the time 1.17 dropped and I never even played it on vanilla so I missed out on a lot. Idk what I'm doing wrong but I've done 3 mining trips and so far I have 24 coal and 29 diamonds... and no I have not been mining for diamonds at all most of those were from going through the huge caves, they were just sitting there on the walls. Also was having a hard time with iron until, idk if by coincidence, at the end of a sizeable lava pool that was flowing from the ceeling I found 3 blocks of iron (news to me) and about 30-ish iron rocks. I can't believe you got me back into grinding this game Wattles... how dare you
