Nice informative video Marik. I have only one BoS 1:18 scale resin model so far out of a collection of 500+ diecast cars & trucks. I have the Bentley Flying Spur by Touring. I purchased this through American-Excellence. This is a shooting brake version of a Bentley Continental GT. Very impressive detail, especially the delicate, realistic windshield wipers. Extremely high-quality paint, trim & wheel/tire combo. Your '82 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham displays the same attention to detail. The 1:1 automobile was built @ Cadillac Clark Street Plant in s.w. Detroit, Michigan,USA. Fleetwoods, we're the line of limousines produced by GMs luxury division, Cadillac. BoS should be commended for its increasing variety of 1:18 scale resin American automobiles. They've been in the 1:43 scale market for a while, nice to see them catching up in their 1:18 lineup. Keep up the good work on those reviews! Looking forward to seeing that new diorama....

I have purchased 4 BOS models - 68 Buick Electra 4 door hardtop, 70 Buick LeSabre 2 door hardtop, 74 Buick Estate Wagon and 78 Mercury Grand Marquis 2 door hardtop. They are all beautifully done.

BoS are in that strange niche whereas none of their models have any opening features and all have a flat plane base for a chassis. Yet the paint job and external detailing is amongst the best of any 1/18 scale model you'll ever see! Making a photo of a BoS 1/18 Scale model hard to distinguish from the real thing! I've never seen any orange peel paint or sloppy half-assed efforts by BoS when modelling exterior fixtures and fittings, its always there fully aligned and in the greatest detail. As a static display piece, to admire rather than pick up and scrutinise, BoS are indeed the Best of Show! In that respect...that's a nice model!😎💯

ehh, I've had some negative experiences with bos. The most common issue with them is that the windows are thin foil that are glued to the resin frame of the car body, and over time they tend to start peeling off.

You could have a V8 or V6 engine also the diesel motor was available as an option for the Cadillac in the 1980s. I would not recommend the diesel engine. Congratulations on this wunderbar 1:18 scale model, great colouring combination too! The white wall tires add an extra touch and realistic enhancement to an already smashing car. Another nice option would be to have the Royal seal tire or the vogue tires which have a white wall and a gold wall on the outside of the tire, and in the United States we sometimes called them, the mustard and mayonnaise wheels, or (shoes) slang terms. I have had several Cadillacs before switching to Mercedes. I had a 1982 Fleetwood d’Elegance. The roof is vinyl. It was a very comfortable ride. However that is not a d’Elegance interior. The correct interior would have been button tufted seats. I loved it. I then went to an 89 Fleetwood 60 Special. FWD and much smaller than the Brougham.

​@@JesusGarcia-ww6qo In 1989 it was an upscale designation for the Fleetwood which was itself an upscale version of the Sedan Deville for the FWD models of the time. Most notably, the Fleetwood had fender skirts and had a bunch of options as standard. The 1989 Sixty Special version had specially-designed 22-way adjustable seats different from other models. Previous to this, for many decades ending in 1976, the Sixty Special name was paired with the Fleetwood name and later the Brougham name and usually denoted the top-of-the-line owner-driven Cadillac. The name was dropped in 1977 and replaced with just “Fleetwood Brougham”, but had a revival between 1987 and 1993.

I just searched "1:18 scale squarebody chevy" and found a nice looking one for 100 USD made by Greenlight. It is the "fall guy" truck which is a tv show from the 80s

modelcarworld, pay attention to their preview section, refresh the page every other month, they re-release this car in new colors every 2 years, sign up for their email notifying you that the model is released, then you have 48 hours to buy it before they go out of stock. this is one of the most sought after 1/18 models in recent history. no idea why. because it is mediocre in quality. but i guess because nobody else makes it.
