Aw man, you’re showing off again 😁 ‘twas a requirement that to be in the cool dudes club in addition to our daily driver and race car we owned a customized pickup truck. It had to be a Chevy, had to be a short bed, either fleetside or step side. Lowered with nice wheels, paint job and a wicked motor, ( El Camino’s also counted). Haven’t had much luck finding them in 1/18 die cast ( and I’ve owned them all, in fact I still own my last pickup ( affectionately known as “Baby “) Gonna really live through you and the trucks ( I’ve got no more room) to start down that rabbit whole 🤣. As I’ve always said these die cast take me down memory lane and I look forward to seeing what you spring up with next. Your collection must be amazing 😉 . Didn’t have the 69 but the 70 ( same body) you’ve done it again! Thanks so much for sharing!

Thank you again for your compliment! It’s true that Highway 61 Pick Ups are very rare and expensive! a 1970 at the time I had one but I had resold it, an error on my part now impossible to find, I'm even looking for the 1972 version, the same which has become impossible to find, I still have cast to show you and I hope How happy it will be for you!

@@wiltorino1 Believe it or not, all components (enough to build a complete truck) are now available through the aftermarket. These are for guys restoring rolling chassis, but you can even buy stock or custom chassis designed for LS swaps and disc brake/rack and pinion conversions ( the sky’s the limit) the 69 to 72 being the most popular and valued at north of 80K if you find someone willing to sell. Mine is the first OBS (1988) with a Caddy front clip on air bags. That’s the beauty of pickups ( they are very personable).
