I recently purchased the 1/43 versión of this by tsm as well . Absolutely magnificent paint finish. Gorgeus design . Cant stop lookin at it . And Best thing I ve got it for 65 dólars. They go for 165 on eBay. Extremely rare and sought after model apparently.

Such a beautiful model!! I have the autoart version Matt white with blue interior and I never get tired of looking at it. Engine detail is is not too bad and even though it's composite, panel gaps are pretty good on mine

i got the autoart version with only $250, i think i bought it at the time it just released. although it's composite, i love it. anyway, your TSM model looks good, too.

How would you rate the body line gaps between the opening doors and the front compartment? Are they uniform or larger in certain areas and less in others or is it easily seen the difference?

I'd like to add a P1 to my collection but am confused about which brand to pick between this TSM one or an AA. The AA version can reveal the engine by removing the cover but it's a composite model although it is in the 'signature' range (if I'm not mistaken). On the other hand, this TSM although it has no engine details, is made of diecast.

AUTOart composite models are NOT signature models, they no longer list them as such, the only AUTOart models released that are still signature models are re releases of older model and still diecast (like the Tomica Nissan Super Silhouette model) While the AUTOart McLaren P1 does have a removable engine cover, the detail is quite poor, and they are plastic, the TSM has great weight, it is diecast and the doors stay open no problem. Up to you! Depends on what color you are after and what price point you are looking for.

I really like this review of the Mclaren P1. I do have a question however... I've been looking at the Mclaren P1 offered by AUTOArt as well, I'm tempted to get both, what do you recommend as far as detail, quality, price, etc?

NinjaKiller1022, I think the detail of this TSM is equal to AA, but for me, I will always choose a diecast over the AA composite. And price comes into it as well, This TSM was cheaper than the AA at the time I bought it. Downside of both - No access to the engine compartment. I guess the other choice comes down to what color you want of this model.

5:36, that's a nasty scratch there. I'm pretty sure it's not lighting because it stays in one spot the enitre time. Could be wrong ofcourse. Thoughts Rob?

Looking back at the video, I'm not sure. I sold the model on so I can't check it, but I had no complaints from the eBay buyer that bought it.

This McLaren P1 actually cost more new than the Hotwheels Elite LaFerrari, but no engine detail on the P1. It's up to you what you like more, LaFerrari or P1

TSM model package is very bad. I got three models from them, and they all come in broken because of those poor packages. I think you just have to consider that when you buy a TSM.
