not so fun fact: when MC says that he didn't recognized her and completely erased his past memories. This is actually happened in real life and it's the part of the brain's defend mechanism. Human brain is very powerful that it can erased all the past memories that causes trauma to prevent any further potential harm.
@ce4612 ай бұрын
Yeah probably a translation thing because it made more sense to say he repressed everything about them.
@shadowmasstitan3442 ай бұрын
Yep human brains needs to be balanced. You need both traumatic and happy memories for your brain to function correctly. If you are too happy you get very angry or depressed. If too traumatic block it or create a happy memory. If too sad you get cheerful. The human brain needs balance because if you have too much of one thing your brain overdoses and can cause brain damage. 🤔

I do this the memories arent so much erased, in my case it feels more like they’re fragmented ice and there are pieces are missing, people say experiences can bring up the missing fragments but the ones remaining disappear through time like ice melting Im not great at wording things so that probably sounds off but thats how I see it

I like this story for two reasons, 1. There was no forced apologies, a lot of other stories have it to where the MC has to “forgive” them to move on but that never stuck right with me, why do they need to forgive them, they never did anything wrong and their hate is completely justified and 2. The love doesn’t feel forced, both characters have similar backstories and hobbies, and they meet in a natural way that at most feels like a stroke of luck, but we don’t ever feel like it’s forced. This was a 10/10 and honestly one of the best story I’ve heard on here

Even more did she bother to tell other students about the incident that it was a misunderstanding where he was getting a band aid for her. She should've save him, but (to me) just left him out. Nerd girl just got fame without any idea that he protected her. Sister just stabbed in deep (not literally) in his heart. I forget the other one but she played his hurt heart. Even after all that, they decided to say sorry for their mistakes when he was hurt like a abused dog (Sorry if anyone got offended here but doing an example here). They think its a okay from "Sorry, but it's all in the past so please cheer up" with words that can be resolve. Even bro just said no, even one time, the girl's friend (who didn't fully understand about him) think how veil he is. Asking "Don't be a d**k" by the former's friend. They destroyed his heart and soul and (not) forcefully go back to him with the smiles and hope to be with him. Narcissists are physically incapable of admitting fault, or acknowledging they've ever wronged thoes in their life. They'll never apologize, nor will they make amends. Precisely! Narcissism and selfishness is the currency of the modern zeitgeist. I'm so moved by this story because it takes people with the same perspectives and similar situations to break free of a mental imprisonment. Do what you can to get away, drown out the noise, find your peace in the chaos. But people you can truly trust are a commodity rarer than diamond planets. I wish all of you goodwill and peace, because if y'all are moved by this as well, then I know for sure you've got genuine hearts still. Old souls. All it takes is a change in perspective. May your journeys be tipped in your favor. Godspeed, folks!

I can understanding it too, my childhood memories also not so great either. I have parents that's really care and spoiling my older brother that they just sometimes forgot that I'm existed the only think that they recognized when they demanding me to have a better grade and do whatever they asked for and that's demanding and high expectations making me scared to talked back since they are kind of parents that are did not like hearing their children said no especially me to rejecting or not meet up their expectations so I became unable to rejecting other people when they asked me anything. This also making me scared to talked to other people and I always intentionally doing half assed on everything afraid that that the others going to have a high expectations on me just like my parents. And also because I've being seen as a timid and very introverted type of boy making me a perfect target for bullies and it's not stopped until I'm got to high school, I'm glad that the bullying stopped but it's also the most lowest point in my entire life, because when I'm on high school I've been diagnosed to have severe depression, I even lashing out and trying to strangling my mother to death before my father and my brother stopped me and holding me into place, I don't remember what I said but I know I said something that I shouldn't said since the only thing I remember are my mother and my father crying while they're hugging me. I'm still have a depression but it definitely getting better now when I'm stepping up into college and sometimes have a urging to hurting myself with a knife so my therapist have been forbidden and said to me and my family to keeping away every sharp objects into safe place where I can't get a hold on it or something like that. I have a few friends now, not much but I still appreciate that I have a decent friends that are willing to be friending someone that are twisted and vile like me.

I've mentally fallen far from time to time but never gotten trapped in the mindsets they had in this story. Only dipped into deep isolation and despair in passing. We all have to suffer a little to make life all the sweeter. It's a shame that that's the way to build character. I've seen what rumors and false statements have done to people. Artists on sites being bullied and canceled, doxxed and exposed, and it's led to some losses which we cannot replace. There are some truly monstrous people out there willing to cut down others out of jealousy, spite, and ignorance. And many of them end up working for some corporations and continue their bullying unchecked all their lives. That being said, they aren't needed to get things done. They aren't conducive to a good society, a good human. Just moments in passing and nothing more. There are good people out there, you just have to find them and make sure. And besides... The Arcana is the means by which all is revealed.

@kfed98348 күн бұрын
Many people will experience moments of being hurt by people you trust but imagining this MC just having to face everything right after trying to open up again each time. Its a miracle the story didn't take a turn for the worst. But you cant blame someone for shutting people out of their lives after stuff like this. I'm glad the girls who wronged him in the past realized they messed up, but I wish they wouldve also tried to clear up the misunderstandings instead of just cheering on the main plot, definitely better than just trying to "be friends" again but still not actually fixing anything. Like why dont you actually tell the school that he didn't assault you hello? The step mother while she did initially not do too much wrong it didn't seem like she really tried to patch their relationship otherwise until it became too late to fix anything, while I do think she genuinely regrets not understanding him it obviously isn't that easy to make him think you care after ignoring him for so long.

Spoiler warning: It's a shame there wasn't more of an arc revolving around the 3 of the 4 girls that took advantage of/bullied him the most when they eventually pledged to support him from afar. For all the build up about how they would redeem themselves indirectly since the MC wouldn't just forgive them at face value, they didn't actually wind up doing anything before the ending. Either way, this was a really nice story with a happy ending.
@naquada4626Ай бұрын
The way to "redeem" themselves was just to leave the MC in peace. It's bittersweet but they cannot do anything else. 1:52:15 There is no redemption arc, no "all is forgiven let's be nice again", at least they know they do horrible things, people in RL dont ever do that. Sadly the author does not show if they do something about the rumors of the MC being a potential r*pist and aggressor.

My boy is such a sigma but he's slipping he's starting to forgive them 💀 he's the one losing out the most here. He doesn't have to hate them anymore but he doesn't have to forgive them either. They moved on with their lives as if it's nothing and my boy took the bulk of it and they think they can waltz back in for a redemption arc play, nah fam nah 👀 and even if my boy finds happiness, all those girls used him to get popular and whatnot. Honestly if I was the MC I would also tell them if they truly are remorseful they should each go in front of the school/class and confess how they wrong the MC considering there's so much misunderstanding surrounding him amongst his peers but even then they are afraid of their own reputation damaged; an image crafted from a lie based on using him. They rather say "lets support the girl and it'll make things right" bs like the instant he said "I'm fine" the girls were like "oh thank god I can move on with my life." They don't get to pretend and move on, "it's not about what I [MC] want! It's about what's fair!" - Harvey Dent Keep in mind, this stigma around him, it'll continue on so long as people recognize him and continue to spread the same rumors because nothing was ever cleared up.
@Noobylicious1232 ай бұрын
seeking for revenge aint a sigma move 💀 forgiveness shows that the past wont affect you no longer. thats a true sigma move right there.
@xmixaplix2 ай бұрын
@@Noobylicious123 but moving past it because he's in a relationship and him wanting revenge before he was in a relationship are 2 separate things and he can only do that because he's in one. Had he not been in one he wouldn't have been able to move past anything to begin with. In that sense, to argue that moving past anything regardless of relationship or not, is a sigma move is moot because I can tell you that it's not, that's just themselves coming into acceptance of their fate/predicament in that situation. If that current relationship he's in turns out to be the same thing as before, he'll fall back into the saddle. A sigma thing to do would've been to take revenge by confronting them head on, that's how you get closure rather than to forget about it and hope it doesn't happen the next time now that you are in a relationship that you think won't happen again just because of it.
