She and her son are living a way better life than they ever could have had with you. His leaving was the best thing that ever happened to her. Also, she's moved on and her son has father figures and male influences in his life. She doesn't need Scumeo and her cousin ruining everything.

Well, MC's parents don't get any credit because they tell her to stay out of social circles since she had a child out of wedlock. I don't expect her parents to support her actions, they don't sugarcoat the reality of the situation which is unexpected to see in a light hearted romance manga. But she still lives with them, eats well, dresses well, sleeps well. In fact, that mc still has an opportunity to reappear in society and can simply wave off her parents words to not go to their social outings is very very unprecedented. That is the clue that this is a fantasy novel. Her parents would be the modern equivalent of letting their kids do what they want.
