A Prophetic Response to America's Defining Moment
Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson, General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ, was the organizer of this service, on Inauguration Day and the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
After Election Day, she felt that an interfaith gathering needed to take place so that those attending (online and in person) could unite and proclaim action, that justice and mercy will diligently move forward in the coming years, no matter what.
