Why don't they request a rule that allows for breaks? Maybe it's not that common, but I know that some long speedruns such as 100% completion for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom allow the runner to pause the timer to eat/sleep and come back without any lost time

As far as I know, you can take breaks in mc speedrunning if the category is long enough, AA allowed breaks (anything more than 2 hour allowed breaks, although don't quote me on the number)
