Thank you John for posting this review of this section of a gun deck .. hopefully at some point in the future we will get to see a video when you get round to build it! The difference in scale compared to your 1/84 scale cannon was really eye opening .. not sure I would even tackle this big model; but as ever I am ore of your model making skills and as always will avidly watch any videos of your ship building John. So thank you for reviewing this kit..

@davidbassett4577 - I believe you think this model is larger than it actually is. I built it when it was originally released back in 1980! It's a great wood kit, nicely made and is just 10" square. I think I paid $130.00 in 1980. I believe you can still purchase it through Wooden Model Ship Kit for $219 dollars, or on line. I still have it under a clear resin display case and it's in the same condition as it was when I built it 44 years ago! It is a great conversation piece with lots of detail.

Be very interested to see your progress with this kit when you start it. I attempted to build the mid-section kit of HMS Victory but was put off by the off-the-shelf generic cannon rather than them being based on the actual ones, but it was an interesting project all the same. Thank you for uploading this vid.
