I finally finished this kit. It didn't turn out as I wanted but to my surprise, it looks damn good. Anyway, I put this model in my display case which is a beautiful OAKLEY sunglasses retail store display case that has built in lights . Its awesome, but I Anyway, I just realized my hood won't fit on because of the air cleaners. Did anyone else have this problem ?

@@modelcarvideos5829 LOL ofcourse. It may fit with just the carbs but I super glued the stacks on. I tried ranking them but the carbs are gonna come off so I am displaying the car with the hood off. I did a nice job in the engine compartment so its not that big of a deal.

Steve I generally use GM style distributors with the coil built in. Lol Honestly I don't have a good reason why I don't. Maybe the next one will have it! Take care

It is 26 ga you can get it from your old phone cords.there’s braided cord and the red wire.and (2) smooth wire

How about the size , you know, AWG size ??? Of the wire, I've been all over this interweb and nobody will tell you what size, i got awg30 and its too big , i would appreciate your help, thank you

I think these were 32awg but a little smaller is probably more in scale to 1/25

32 gauge is probably closer to what you want for 1:25 scale. When you buy wire, the "gauge" of the wire is the wire itself and does not include the sheathing. So for 1:24 scale 30 gauge is probably correct, but for 1:25 scale 32 gauge is probably closer to what you are looking for.
