1/27/2025: Corn Chowder and Corn Bread

This is the perfect meal for a cool evening like this one. Don't be afraid to try the different bacon flavors, ham, or salt pork. I have used maple bacon, and it was really good. An immersion blender works really well if you think you want a creamier chowder. This chowder is creamy as is, though, but you be the judge for your taste. I dont us flour in my chowder. I let the chowder thicken on it's own as you see in this video. Clam chowder would be good, but my husband doesn't like clams. 🤐🤭

I'm telling mom🤣. (This is my little sister, by the way. ) Our mom used to make soups/chowder, and I think my brother and I were the only ones who liked them. My sisters weren't really into soupy meals.
