This is the perfect meal for a cool evening like this one. Don't be afraid to try the different bacon flavors, ham, or salt pork. I have used maple bacon, and it was really good. An immersion blender works really well if you think you want a creamier chowder. This chowder is creamy as is, though, but you be the judge for your taste. I dont us flour in my chowder. I let the chowder thicken on it's own as you see in this video. Clam chowder would be good, but my husband doesn't like clams. 🤐🤭
