1,300 mile round trip to Utah with the GX, disaster?

After 4 years of ownership, I take a trip back to the state where I purchased my GX. We went to Touqerville falls and visited Zion National Park. The climate there was over 100 degrees but the GX on 35's handled it beautifully. Until the next time.

what's the purpose of adding "disaster' in the title. clickbait? or were you afraid of having so little down travel left (after putting too much lift) will end up with broken shocks?

@@chopperpl not necessarily a click bait if you will. Setting up the expectations that a luxury vehicle can’t off-road and isn’t reliable on a 1300 mile trip. I didn’t post it but I did have an issue on the way back where I had an accident with the electronics and had to limp home for 3 hours under 55mph max with the check engine light on. Corrected the issue once I was home so that could’ve been one of those “disasters” but was not documented.

@@exiong81 now that explains the title... glad you made it home... BTW, GXes are already well known luxury offroad beasts. Just finished my 5k miles trip fully loaded family of four with rooftop tent + 270 awning... without a glitch.

@@chopperpl yes, wish I would’ve documented that as part of the video but it wasn’t planned so didn’t cross my mind to record it. Though it was documented in my Instagram but more so pictures and not video. The GX to those who have no idea about are truly reliable and capable and it’s sad that there are people out there who still believes that. Thats awesome to hear about your successful 5K trip w/ the family! I want to do something similar to that but the wife is one of those who prefers to “glamp” vs camp.
