Hard to say for certain but sounds like it encourages an open clubface. So if you need a lateral shift you may have to feel a release feeling simultaneously.

Mr Bennett, you briefly touch on the "top players hanging back a bit more", I by no means am at op play but do delay as you mentioned. Moving lateral as much as you suggest is simply to uncomfotable for me and feels too "hippy"... All this to ask would it be possible to do a video demonstrating the top player hip hanging back transition ? Pravo Sir.
@warrenbennettgolfacademy5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the message, yes I definitely will, I have done something like this or mentioned it a number of times in previous videos, bit will have a think and out it on the to do list. Remember lateral shifting isn’t for everyone, it’s mainly for the golfer who doesn’t do it enough. Many thanks Warren

Still spin a bit too early but have inside club path (thank god) lasso video helped me there. Worked on what seems a "more vertical takeaway" to get club on inside path down and what seems like holding off shoulders with a steady head at delivery but lower half is still messed up... Getting there though and can hit a few of these shots in a round whereas feels like right side is firing thru ball 9.8 (best) and back up to 10.6 now) Need to practice more...... Headed to range to try "slingshot" move today (loved that video) but desperately need to figure out lateral shift. Lose distance because of the absence of the lateral shift Looking forward to range session today and filming it Thank you for these videos Warren. Dan

Would like to see video about driver setup... I always feel cramped with the driver, leading to leaning back and hitting bottom of clubface... leading to having to tee it up so high because the cramped feeling at setup... almost like I have to fall back to have enough room to swing through impact.

Is this lateral movement of the hip the same “clear the hips” “create space for your arms” that you hear every one online talking about. Something I’ve never quite fully understood untill Youv mentioned this and a bit of a lightbulb moment if that’s what it is referring to
@warrenbennettgolfacademy5 ай бұрын
I would say no not what I was referring to on this video, this is more about the lateral move in transition before we start to rotate, which is one of the main ingredientes lot of club golfers need. Hope that helps Warren
