Everytime I get power tools in my scrap I smash them open and make a pile of steel motors. Anything with a motor I smash

How does the yard you go to work mate with light iron, Sheering ect mine only weighs everything in as light iron unless it's non ferrous, do you get weighed then drop off light iron then weigh again n again ?

Yes I get weighed drop off the light or shearing then go back on the scale to then drop the rest off.
