What type of color did you apply on the bottom surfaces?..? Thanks, great job.

@ I didn't use a surfacer. If I were to use a surfacer, I would probably shade it with black on a gray surfacer.

Could you tell me if the engine cowling fits well over thee engine? Thought about buying it but would like to know if it fits well first. Beautiful build very artistic, lovely job.

In my experience, this kit is easy to put together. The cowling and engine area fit well. However, this may just be my issue, but the engine mounts inside the frame did not fit well. You may need some putty and a thin plastic rod. If you like Wildcats, give it a try. Overall, it is a good kit.

The Wilcat's wing fold mechanism came from a paperclip stuck into an eraser as a crude model.
