1.4t front engine mount for the 1975 VW Rabbit #60

The last mount I need to secure the 1.4t CZTA engine in the bay of the 1975 VW Rabbit is the front mount that goes between the front crossmember and the engine/transmission. It's going to be nice to see all the engine mounts in place and secure!

Thanks! I'm doing the best I can with the tools and materials I have. Hope to do a full video on what I've done for the cooling system once I get it all hooked up.

Is there an off the shelf mount for a o2a trans mount ? Great to seen bunny rabbit videos 😋 I do like seeing your custom in-house fabrication you do 👍👍

Yes, a few companies make 02a to mk1 trans mounts. These are from tech53, but I think S&P auto sells some too. I think trackslag in the UK sod them too

I used my factory front mount on the 02a. It looked like you had your factory mount holding it upside down

Did anybody else notice that drain cap with the VW emblem under the engine? How was this neat detail not mentioned?

I think the one you're talking about is on the bottom of the transmission. I never paid attention to it, but it's a cool piece! Perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in with the function of it.

That is the bottom of the 02j/a shift tower.
