I like Mcintosh. They have gone through many ownership changes over the decades so have to be careful what vintage or current models you buy. They pair nice with Sonus Faber BUT my personal system with my Sonus Faber Aida 2's I power them with 2 VAC 452 IQ musicblocks and just feel VAC is superior to Mcintosh. I am likely going to run Mcintosh in my separate Theater room. The tubes just give a more realistic sound (my opinion).

Not for me. Within 60 years I used, build on my own and aligned myseld many combined systems, all of them gave me a lot of positive emotions, learning about acoustic and electronic and satisfaction in partying in science audio world Thinking that I would buy so big sophisticated surface and system and need of keeping it immaculate would not alow me for any modification due to it's resell value I would feel like passive user. I think I would still strive to make something better at least in sounding which is always possible - just for fun.

1.5 million de dollars de matériel hi-fi et au moins 150 000 dollars de câbles tout confondu, bien évidemment le tout est alimentée en 220 volt par de vulgaire câbles rigide de 2,5 mm2 dans une gaine en plastique. Chercher l'erreur.

Fantastic equipment but these boxes with batteries on speaker cables are only making the signal worse as checked by audio science review. I had some audioquest cables which were quite low quality and much more prefer QED. Just read this - who is buying this nonsense? "puts all of a cable’s dielectric into a strong, stable electrostatic field which saturates (organizes) the molecules of the insulation ..."
