What I enjoy more than watching you enjoy street foods is you enjoying it with “your father”. We Asians really put gratitude for our parents up high on values and merits. So I am a bit in tears when I saw you put your arm around Dad’s shoulder and show him around. 😍♥️👍😇🥰🌈

from 11:11: I agree with you 100% !: This is my kind of vibe too !! This is the unique street food culture that Thailand (still ??) has to offer. One of my main reasons for traveling to this country. And when I see something like JODD FAIRS I get scared that this lack of culture is about to destroy something like Chinatown. Urban planning in Bkk unfortunately seems to be heading in this direction. Btw..you make the best Thai travel canal, intelligent, funny, aesthetic video and audio editing professionally. Keep it up!

Thanks so much for your support! We also love the local street food culture in Thailand. I think the newer markets are also a great space for younger entrepreneurs to try their own thing too :) However, the newer markets do tend to lose their appeal faster.

Nice to see the few establishments still around at Yaowarat after all these years. I was there 10 years ago, and remember the Kway chap, pork satay and the black sesame rice balls in sweet ginger soup. I also remember a famous place that sell toast with different spreads and of course, the green mango with the dried shrimp dipping sauce….good memories

A video that smells incredibly good 😆 Flora, even if it's called Chinatown, I bet it must be very different than the food you could find on a street market in Hong-Kong, not even mentioning the Chinatowns in Canada? And also another question, does Note have an accent when he speaks Thai? Are they different accents in the different part of Thailand?
@FloraandNote3 жыл бұрын
I miss Hong Kong street food so much too, but yes it is very different from what we can find in Bangkok's Chinatown. Thai street food has more variety though and lots of sour, spicy and more pungent flavours. There are different accents in Thailand, for example the Southern accent is very strong and it is actually quite hard for Note to understand too. Note said he doesn't really have an accent, but maybe his choice of words aren't very "local Thai" so people can tell that he's maybe lived abroad or something.
