I love third gen Camaros but they are a pain in the butt to get to run right

Install an hei distributor about 8-12°btdc. Your carburetor is also begging for a rebuild. Ive had good service out of the bravex brand hei distributor off ebay. Since you're gonna have the heads off maybe get a summit 4/7 swap cam and some thinner head gaskets, timing chain kit then clean the heads up and slap it back together and go do some burnouts!

@samloudermilk1381 Oh yeah, both of these carburetors are in need of TLC, but we had to make the best out of what we had around. On the nights we filmed, the temperatures reached -30⁰C so we were not going to get something out of another vehicle. You'll have to stick around and see what we have planned for this car in the future!

Check the timing chain. Sounds like it has jumped. Common problem on chevys with plastic timing teeth. If the cam timing is off you will never get the ignition timing correct. This is why it made no difference in the gallop when you adjusted the timing. Probably why it was parked after they changed all of the ignition parts and it still didn't run. All for a $50 timing chain.

@NastyZ28-MY2NDAMD We're certainly not going to rule that out as a possibility. With the major amount of coolant in the oil (easily over 4 quarts) we are leaning to a possible head gasket or intake manifold leakage. However we do plan on diagnosing the "milkshake oil" as well as the gallop in a future episode so stick around to see what we find!

I don't see how you guys aren't suffocating with all that carbon monoxide floating around.

We had the doors cracked in between shots but were still feeling a little goofy towards the end. I guess we're just built different

Unfortunately the problem wasn’t that simple. In the next episode we go over the issues with the engine.

Man y’all’s audio is horrible. Can’t understand a thing y’all are saying. Just saying.
@FridgeandPipesGarage22 сағат бұрын
@davidwiley652 Sorry about that, we've been working on making the audio better for a broader range of devices. Headphones and TV speakers are the best to listen on currently. We're still new to this and learning as we go, audio has definitely been a main focus since our first video and it will continue to be until it is perfect. Thank you for the feedback. What did you think about the visual and content of the video?
