I wouldn't even have to bet what's the best bull... this genetically weak bull with arced back...versus my bigger bull with straight-lined back and solid genetics. If that silly little piglet bull was placed on my property to breed...my bull would have a field day with it.

@@tommyshanks8375 Wean early, pump him with 20% cubes and all the alpha-clover he can eat, then starve him out for 10 to 14 days and then put him back onto his feed and goodies and watch any bull grow fast to day 205. Any pampered bull that's been starved will do that.

With cryogenic preservation, one can have his cake and eat it too.. the seller very likely (almost certainly) harvested and preserved enough semen to breed 10,000 calves from that bull.. and, with his DNA, one can create a 100% exact duplicate clone. Semen dealers often have a cloned bull in their line ups.. instead of "SAV America", the list will have "SAV America2". An identical twin CLONED from the original bull. In this way, they can continue selling a good bull's genetics ad infinitum. There are probably clones alive today of original animals that died 15+ years ago. There may be semen for sell from bulls that died 40+ years ago.. so long as it remains frozen in liquid nitrogen, semen remains viable forever.

It is virtually impossible to fake the age of cattle. An experienced rancher can tell within 15 seconds by looking at the teeth!

A more reliable method would be by seeing it's relationship with the mother, (If it's still on the teat, which it should be up to 10 mths. All is never as it seems if you read the subtle clues...like your comment is receiving likes at the rate of one an hour, but that doesn't mean it will have 24 likes after 24 hours.
