Your take on the Jobson Horne is so practical and efficient! I’ve also Rhys and Taylor making good use of it as well and mentioning your clever inventions. You’re genuinely such an impressive man.

I had to tell Rhys in the comments many times to try out the Rai currette while he was bumbling away with old style instruments. Finally he took the hint and now he swears by it!

Considering how adhered to the eardrum it was, you managed to get it out in no time. 👍Sounds like Mrs. Cotton Bud needs a reprimand. 😂

I love using q-tips, it gives a nice sensation in my ears. Also using them to dry my ears after washing my hair. (When my ears get itchy I drop olive oil in them.) I know it's wrong but I've been doing it my whole life without problems; I don't have a lot of wax anyway.

Me 100%. When I stopped consistently using q-tips, I started getting more frequent ear infections. Gave in and started using them again, and now my ears are happy once more 😌

The sweat can smell bad if it has a high sebaceous content, oily sweat.

"I had no choice." I remember a time when you would correct yourself for saying that and saying "Well, I HAD a choice, I could NOT do it and referrer them..." What's changed them? Is it that you have 500k+ subscribers and patented tools you're selling? Or more confidence in your skills? Both?

Thank you, Neel, for your educational uploads of ear care. I always get water deep in my ears when I shampoo my hair. The only way I can eliminate the annoying wet sound in my ears is to absorb the soapy water with a cotton tip. It actually has a nice feeling when I swish and twirl the cotton tip deep in my ear. Rarely, in one ear I may experience the gag reflex but I can get past that feeling to dry out my ear. I have no idea if there is any wax build-up due to my internal medical doctor does answer my questions in my yearly exams. I wish I could get a straight answer from her.

Tell Mrs Cotton Bud you're going to start charging her triple the normal rate for making it three times more difficult, LOL! j/k 😉 At least she's listened about getting water in her ears.

I’m sure your client is a lovely person, but isn’t doing the same thing over and over with the same negative result, the definition of insane? “I’m having trouble hearing. Let me grab a cotton bud and cram that wax right up onto the ear drum. That should help.” I should add, at this point, that I’m the queen of bad choices. So, I’m sure I’ve done worse. 🤪 Great job with a challenging cleaning. I’m glad you and your patient have a rapport where you can joke a bit. 🙂

I'm 65 & used Q-tips my whole life, but never had ear wax issues. Can't understand why people with these excess wax issues don't use a hair grip/hair pin, etc., something that would scoop wax out.
