Great video and congrats on 1.5k! I just wanted to comment on the squat depth thing, especially for taller people. It's less about height than it is limb segment ratios, as someone with proportionally longer femurs/short torso will always have a harder time hitting even parallel squats than someone with shorter femurs/longer torso. In Chara's video, I would say his squat looks really good, although he is squatting parallel and not ATG. But his torso is like a mile long lol, and it also looks like his femurs are proportionally shorter for his height. So although this is a good example of how tall people can squat, it ignores much of the nuance of individual anthropometry that makes it hard for people with disadvantageous leverages to squat properly. Not saying it's impossible, but for those with poor leverages deep squats might not always be as effective.

Thank you. Not the best angle of Chara's squats, but if you stop the video in the bottom position, crease of the hip is below top of the knee, so he's below parallel. Calf and hamstring also overlap (though not completely, so not ATG as you pointed out) and based on how far ahead his knees move, I'd say he's using a slant board or plates to elevate the heels to reach depth. If he isn't, then he has surprisingly good ankle mobility for such a tall player. Agreed that squats without heel raise pose difficulty for tall athletes, even most normal sized hockey players struggle with those. That's why a heels elevated goblet squat is such a great teaching tool to ingrain an upright position, full range of motion, and smooth execution before moving on to heels elevated barbell squats.
