I remember watching someone mention that as a tip. It's great to hear experienced collectors tips and I really appreciate you reminding me of the museum gel. Thanks brother.

Yes I remember it about a year ago on KZbin. It's good stuff to use and works really well 👌. No worries glad to be of help ( even if just a little).

Hi I wanted to stick 1:6 Spider-Man on a detolf shelf hanging down from the top will it secure it after I use a stand to hold it in place using the gel
@toddscollectibles9802 жыл бұрын
Hi there, I've not tried that before. But my guess I'd say no, as its taking the full weight of the figure with gravity working against it. If it does work you would have to sit there a long time holding the figure until the gel really takes hold. It's good but not that good lol. Hope this helps!

Good stuff, seen a vid on this awhile back, but always good to see others sharing tips. Will get some of this, bit pricey for what it is but does look good on the egg and as a water effect.
@toddscollectibles9803 жыл бұрын
Thank you, yes its amazing stuff. Well worth the money. Does hold the figures very well. Yes for water effects is fantastic, just got to play with it and understand its nature to how it will settle to what you want.

That's good Stanley, I've since found once you really get to know more about it and how it settles the more you can get out of it. Lots now got it and love it.

Brilliant so this is different than museum wax right ?
@toddscollectibles980 Жыл бұрын
Yes Daniel, it's like a gel. I use it most of the time. When my figures are in dioramas that for me is best. Don't need stands then lol

Very interesting… does it have to be a flat surface or will it work on uneven “terrain”? I have a diorama with a gravel road for a Fallout custom, want the figure to stand unaided and looking at this as the solution… will it work?
@toddscollectibles9802 жыл бұрын
No it does not have to be on a flat surface, I use it on assorted dioramas. Just make sure you use a bit more to hold the figure. After about a hour it blends in with the diorama anyway. Just make sure when you take some out of the container, that you mix it up with your fingers to get a real bond going before putting on the figure.

@@toddscollectibles980 cheers, that’s what I was hoping for! I made the diorama before thinking through how I was going to stand the figure and I can’t face drilling into it now to put a pole and a “crotch grabber”. Think I’m going to take the “museum pose gel” plunge! Thanks for the video and the advice 👍
