i would have Mystery Grail in the caution section. they have been giving a lot of new release product dump commons in their boxes, when they used to have older commons/exclusives

Yeah, it’s been over a year since I opened any of their boxes but I have heard the same thing. I actually have saved 50 boxes from them that I purchased between March-June 2023 so that I can do a video opening them a full year later. I’m planning to film it soon and I’m kind of scared of what I’ll end up getting lol.

Yeah this was a big one for sure. Probably won’t do another one this expensive for a longgggg time. I usually max out at like $500 because it just gets too risky.

yeah smeye world was trash for awhile but now they finally caught up with the times and realized they can't sell non-guaranteed value mystery boxes anymore

Yep, that’s the exact reason I stopped buying from them but I’ve seen lately that most of their boxes are at least full guaranteed value so I figured it’s worth buying some more to see how we do.

There’s definitely still a market for grails. However, anything mass produced the last few years is basically worth retail or less.

Mystery Grail Box is on your “Buy” category? I’m guessing because they’re cheap. They are horrible in value on average. Originally and only until they were called out on there percentages they had a misleading percentages statement on pop values per run. I don’t know.? I just wouldn’t have them in the “Buy” category.

I haven’t opened a box from them in quite some time (I bought 50 boxes from them in early 2023 and have been holding them to do a video two years later) but my current return on their boxes is 16.96% ($511) according to PPG at the time of the unboxings. PPG is obviously questionable, but I’ve used it for all unboxings just for consistency.

Sorry, In My Opinion You Lost Much More Than just $72. While the Metallic Deadpool PoP is Desirable and will retain most of its Value the other Two PoPs are not and will not.

In terms of resale, you’re 100% right. When I do the math at the end I always use Hobbydb/PPG because that’s what most companies use to measure their value, but real world value is always much less. If I resold this whole group of Pops, I’d be lucky to get $1,000 after fees.
