Looking at that Coupe DeVille.... I'm in awe of the detail, particularly the fender skirts.

Informative video - loved listening to stories of off roading, and making a console out of ply. We have an old Land Rover Defender which came with a factory made console (with cup holders) also out of ply. That Sedan de Ville is awesome.

I found the cadillac in a hitch and go series. The rear bumper had a problem in the way it put on. I had to take it off carefully and re-glue it on. One side was slightly off from going in. I like the casting. The hood part could a away around having a small part breakable part. Seeing auto world is not around here getting 1970 era car like this a nice addition to my cadillac stock.

I got the Caddy. It came in “Rocky” (the movie) packaging.

Customization is very realistic... for a moment, I thought GL had released trucks with roof racks and lights.

The Bootlegged model looks a lot nicer than the production models being sold. The raised windows on the production models overlap the roof of the car. Giving the appearance of a shoddy workmanship in installing the windows to the model.

Sweet 73 Cadillac! Greenlight and A.W. are coming on strong! Glad to see family cars coming on the scene.

I did not know about the Lincoln Continental casting. I just found it on eBay. I bought a black one and a blue one. About 12 bucks each.

Be great if Greenlight could a 1/64 1970 Buick Electra 225 4-door sedan like this. Would go really nicely alongside these. Also the 1970-1 Plymouth Valiant Deluxe 4-door sedan.

Was this Cadillac in the Rocky movie, though ? Can’t find any footage anywhere. Because packaged as part of the “Rocky” series of cars.

In real life, The 73 DeVilles came with badge or (hood ornament + badge). How they decided which cars got which, I have no idea.

I agree. Auto worlds quality is so much better than green lights. Never a flaw. Not on auto world. But greenlight, it’s almost guaranteed.

I would disagree with this...while I do agree that Auto world has a higher level of quality, I get plenty of them that have flaws. I don’t buy a ton of auto worlds like I do Greenlight either, but I see issues with them pretty frequently as well...this didn’t used to be the case though, only the last couple years as their production has increased. The absolute only brand I see that never has flaws is Tomica Limited Vintage. With the rest of the brands, it’s just a matter of frequency.

Does the hood open on the Greenlight DeVille? I can't get it to open.

12:20 do you mean 1976 coupe de ville?

The 73 two door caddy from. AUTO WORLD doesn't have a grill. It's as though they just said screw it or maybe it's a production oversight. The car is beautiful but still can't understand the absence of the grill tampo.
