7:35 the silver things are the locking mechanism to hold the rear clamshell. The Pink pig is a variation of the 917 indeed but it wasn't very successful. They abolished the seat rules in the 80s. The group C cars didn't have them so it made it much easier for the drivers.

FYI, I see a resin 1/64 Pink Pig on Aliexpress, but I have a 1/87 version already.

@@smallmodelcollector I didn't like the pink pig. It was excessively bulbous and ugly, ruining the design of the 917.

It's actually a $2 mic from Aliexpress but it's behind the monitor so my breathing can't be heard. I have a $25 mic in my older videos but can't tell any difference.

Hi. Thanks for your videos. I have a question for you. I saw you showing some sparkys. Now they are issuing a new set of formula one for 2022. I want to know what is the rank of the quality/detail for this brand and their f1 cars . From the least to the most, Are they like a premium hot wheels, a mini gt, tarmac or inno? Where do they stand? Thanks

I think those are their first F1 cars; I'll get one eventually. All US brands are garbage compared to the imports. I rank Inno is best, then Tarmac, then Sparky, then MiniGT.

@@chadmilan Yep, only MiniGT strictly uses tampos so I tend to rank them 2nd after Inno.

Most brands under $30 in 1/64 are always metal bodies including Sparky.
