I remember building this kit back in the 90s. Great to see you building it. You did an excellent job and it looks beautiful.

Great Build! Great Camo Scheme! Appreciate seeing a Vietnam war F111! It is awesome to see some pilots being used! Ben sounds for the win always!

The f-111e never flew in Vietnam all 94 were based at RAF Upper Heyford United Kingdom. So don't understand why you didn't get aftermarket decals for Heyford oppa 20th tactical fighter Squadron which you can get

Hi, to my understanding it was engaged in Vietnam, but based in Thailand. Here is a link that you can check. Maybe this help me to understand. Thank you for your comment, and if you notice something else, you are welcome to comment. Cheers ;-) f-111.net/Page-11.html

@@airlinersmodelmania ah, that would be the F-111A, the big difference between the A and E are the intakes. Still, good build!
@airlinersmodelmania2 жыл бұрын
@@enzoacorda thank you for the info, I will be more careful in the future. I am mainly a airliner guy ;-)

If you made an "E" version, why made it with "A" version's decals? They have totally different air intakes... you used the later Triple Plow-II intakes, instead the early TP-I, that is the "a" version's intake.
@airlinersmodelmania3 жыл бұрын
Whow, honestly I didn't know all those differences. Hats off Sir ;-)

How do you buy a kit and wait 20 YEARS before you build it
@airlinersmodelmania3 жыл бұрын
Because I had too many.... Mainly I was more interested with airliners, and during those time, there were not so many, then I joined a club and I discover an entire new world.... so I left my military aircraft behind, so now I decided not to buy any more new kits before I finish them..
