It was nostalgic to see you build this kit. I built it myself but it is now broken, with missing parts. When I built it, I left the stores pylons off and cut the Spitfire decal into 3 to help put it on. Of all the models I've damaged, I regret that one one of the most. I hope Revell re-release the kit so I can repair mine and build the other two options.

I liked your video. Other people have commented on the decals. Large surface decals can be very difficult to do well. My suggestion is to sand the area with something like Tamiya 3000 grit. Then gloss varnish and again polish with a 3000 grit paper. This will smooth the area making silvering less likely. Also, cut as much of the excess transfer away as possible. Some silvering can be fixed by piercing with a needle or scalpel and reapplying your Micro sol setting solutions. I have used Tamiya extra thin cement very carefully applied to the silvered area but this is probably better for smaller decals. Perhaps you already know a lot of this but perhaps it will help someone else. Subscribed. All the best, Ian

Thank you for your comment. I do not remember this video is old but nowadays I ally clear before decal and apply clear after decal too. Then after weathering do semi gross clear.
