Hi! Nice build overall and I like it when KZbinrs „come down to earth“ by showing off also the not perfect results. I think you did great in rescuing the plane. Little sidenote: The music in the decals chapter is too loud compared to your voice.

Ha! That was my thought when doing this video. I wanted to highlight that no matter how long you have been modeling or how many awards you win, we all still have screw ups! Unfortunately, as far as the music goes in the decaling chapter. Not sure what happened and how to fix it now.

Your basing wasn't contrast enough from the get go. A lot more white on black and you'd be ok. As your airbrushing the final top coat if it looks like your loosing the basing just stop..............Pretty simple.

It’s not good to go more than 50/50 on the basing. It will turn to light and you won’t have any mottling effect underneath. I think you might not have watched the video fully. I had a beautiful color basing. But because of tape residue I had to re-sand, re-prime, and re-paint. So I lost the color basing due to that….not because I over airbrushed.
