It is possible the heavy weapon sprue is molded thicker because it will be handled more. When you pick up the half track it is not by the gun barrel. Both weapons molded with hands are M2 .50, the small mg in the cradle with the pistol grip is an M 1919A something, a .30 caliber. Adam

Great paint jobs, IMHO...The extra stowage back packs from the half track sprues, could be made into some nice medic bags. Lil green stuff shoulder strap. Do ya see where I am going with this? Are we two people separated by a common language? Adam

Nice video, cool figures. In relation to the .50 cal issue, the plasticsoldierreview site covers this. The larger one is indeed intended to be a .50, but is totally out of scale, its just a design/sculpting error. Better off getting a set of guns from Sgtsmess.co.uk or some other supplier, they'll be in white metal, won't break and in the correct scale. Hope that helps.

The .50 cal on the second spru does look out of scale, too large. The ammo box is a giveaway, it's too large. It looks more like a 20mm gun.
